Goodbye FC Rosengard

This morning I got out of bed around eleven o’clock, had lunch and eventually started to pack my bags because we needed to leave tomorrow morning and we thought we did not have some other time to pack our bags so we already started. Around two o’clock in the afternoon we left to the club. The match would start at three o’clock but we left a bit earlier because we wanted to give our present we brought from home ( a shirt from our local club with the text ‘FC ROSENGARD BEDANKT!’ printed on it) and that had to be done in front of the match. When we arrived at the club Klas was busy with an interview with the trainer. So we waited a few minutes until he was finished. Afterwards we gave Klas the shirt and two small kits of our local club which could be stuck to the window. Then we started to watch the match. The final score was 1-2, FC Rosengard lost. Because Fc Rosengard lost another club in the same league became champion, because in Sweden the competition ends before winter time because in the north of Sweden it’s way too cold to play football in the winter. Afterwards we said goodbye to everyone and took Kirsten and Maja, her girlfriend out for dinner to thank them for making it possible to let us do our internship at FC Rosengard. We already planned on going to a burger place with them but when we got there the kitchen would already close at six o’clock so we would not have enough time to eat dinner. But Kirsten told me that is normal in Sweden that restaurants already close around six o’clock in the weekends. So we walked a bit further and got to the next burger place which was still open. After dinner we walked back to the apartment and went to Kirsten and Maja’s apartment. We played some games back at their apartment with some friends of theirs. Around eleven o’clock in the evening we left because we had to get up early next morning. Before we left we made a picture with Kirsten and thanked them a lot because they were the ones that made this internship possible. It was a grateful see you soon because we hope to see them or here in the Netherlands or again in Sweden.
